I am a retired IT Manager who moved to Milcombe in 1993 because it was a quite and peaceful location. Over the last few years it has grown and is at the risk of just becoming an overflow area for Banbury. There is the risk that too many people will either overload our current services or just create more transport away. We need to find a way to develop and grow services and functions for our village. Historically, Milcombe had always been a small and compact area, and we need to find a way to maintain that history while still supporting new growth in a managed way. That must include maintaining the bus route, while enabling foot and cycle paths to Bloxham and Banbury. Work From Home will enable us to grow, without the added transport that would have been in the past.
